FAQs

Can we use this session to address a real-time issue or need?

Absolutely! Many clients use this as an opportunity to problem-solve or ideate around something which is being worked on at the time of the workshop. In addition, we often end the session with “next-steps,” if desired by the client. This encourages the development of a work-plan and helps those in the room to understand how they might best be involved in its implementation.

It’s great to get a lot of good ideas, but I have concerns that people will then think that we are going to enact all the ideas we come up with in the room. How do you handle this?

Part of the workshop’s approach is to train around the idea of “non-attachment.” We specifically teach that effective collaboration requires a willingness to allow ideas to flow without being attached to their being enacted. This concept is built into the experience and is part of all communication.
